Ron West has been representing closely held businesses and their owners for over forty years. He concentrates on helping business owners maximize the value of their businesses by developing the best business structure, designing contracts with key employees, retirement plans, and other benefit programs, also specializes in representing clients in buying and selling their businesses. In addition, he specializes in estate planning, probate and estate administration.

He is a frequent speaker to professional groups and serves on the Boards of Directors of numerous corporations and civic organizations. He has served as president of the Hebrew Home of Greater Washington, served on the Board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, and serves on committees of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. In addition, Mr. West serves as a court-appointed mediator and arbitrator helping people resolve disputes and avoid costly litigation. He was pleased to be featured in Washingtonian Magazine as one of the region's top estate planners.

Mr. West received his B.A. in accounting from the George Washington University in 1958, and his J.D. from the George Washington University in 1964, with highest honors. Mr. West is also a Certified Public Accountant and, prior to law school, he was one of the founders of a local accounting firm.
