Katherine Curley joined West & Feinberg as an associate in 2012. Her practice focuses on estate and business planning.

In the area of estate planning, Ms. Curley counsels individuals and families with an emphasis on minimizing estate, gift and generation skipping transfer taxes. Ms. Curley prepares wills and a variety of trusts including revocable living trusts, life insurance trusts and special needs trusts. She also provides advice to clients on their business planning needs, including the creation and maintenance of nonprofit organizations.

Ms. Curley received her B.A. in economics with an emphasis on international trade from the College of William and Mary in Virginia in 2002. She received her J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in 2007.

While in law school, she served as an officer of Phi Alpha Delta and the Women’s Law Caucus. During her third year she received The Marathon Award, recognizing her significant contributions to the law school community. Ms. Curley is a member of the American Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia.
